Outpatient treatment for addiction detoxification
The Psychosocial Care Service (SAP) is a private, confidential outpatient therapy centre located in the centre of Barcelona, specialising in the treatment of addictions, although it also deals with other requests for psychological therapy.
We have a multidisciplinary team with extensive training and experience in addictions: psychologist-therapists, neuropsychologists, psychiatrists, administrative staff, etc.
With comfortable facilities, we offer individual, group, family and couple support, medical and psychiatric follow-up, urine tests, among other resources.
Since the SAP was set up in 1997, we have supported thousands of service users, in an environment of professionalism, trust and confidentiality.
Outpatient treatment is also intensive: in one week, a patient can have two urine tests, one therapy session with a psychologist, one medical visit and one therapy group, reaching 5–6 visits to the SAP and ensuring close follow-up of the case.
Adherence to the therapeutic programme—regular attendance at individual and group psychotherapy, regular urine tests and family involvement whenever possible—promotes an optimal prognosis for recovery. Under these conditions, the approximate duration of the outpatient programme is two years.
