In our organisation, <strong data-start=\"340\" data-end=\"361\">women receiving care<\/strong> account for <strong data-start=\"374\" data-end=\"384\">25%<\/strong>, with a significant recent increase. This situation, together with the <strong data-start=\"464\" data-end=\"483\">awareness-raising<\/strong> work we carry out at FSC on women\u2019s substance use, has led us to <strong data-start=\"550\" data-end=\"589\">incorporate a gender perspective<\/strong>, given that many addiction treatments were traditionally <strong data-start=\"664\" data-end=\"687\">designed with men in mind<\/strong>.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"690\" data-end=\"1249\">Our proposal aims to <strong data-start=\"728\" data-end=\"776\">address addiction from a female perspective<\/strong>, recognising <strong data-start=\"791\" data-end=\"829\">different profiles and contexts<\/strong>: stigma and social discrimination towards women who use drugs, <strong data-start=\"891\" data-end=\"934\">difficulty in sharing intimate matters<\/strong> in mixed groups, <strong data-start=\"953\" data-end=\"1005\">the burden of motherhood and family ties<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"1009\" data-end=\"1047\">possible experiences of violence<\/strong>. These particular circumstances often make it harder for women to feel <strong data-start=\"1117\" data-end=\"1146\">reflected or understood<\/strong> in predominantly male groups, encouraging <strong data-start=\"1202\" data-end=\"1214\">silence<\/strong> or <strong data-start=\"1220\" data-end=\"1232\">dropping out<\/strong> of treatment.<\/p><h2 style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"1251\" data-end=\"1269\">What do we offer?<\/h2><ul data-start=\"1271\" data-end=\"2750\"><li style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"1271\" data-end=\"1486\"><p data-start=\"1273\" data-end=\"1486\"><strong data-start=\"1273\" data-end=\"1315\">Personalised individual psychotherapy.<\/strong> We create a <strong data-start=\"1329\" data-end=\"1351\">climate of trust<\/strong> in which to assess the <strong data-start=\"1368\" data-end=\"1389\">pattern of use<\/strong> (use, misuse or addiction), <strong data-start=\"1415\" data-end=\"1440\">broaden awareness<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1443\" data-end=\"1468\">activate motivation<\/strong> for change.<\/p><\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"1487\" data-end=\"2394\"><p data-start=\"1489\" data-end=\"1705\"><strong data-start=\"1489\" data-end=\"1537\">Psychotherapy group with a gender approach.<\/strong> A space to <strong data-start=\"1554\" data-end=\"1580\">share experiences<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1583\" data-end=\"1598\">reflect<\/strong> on addiction from the <strong data-start=\"1627\" data-end=\"1659\">specific vulnerabilities<\/strong> of being a woman, with the following objectives:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1708\" data-end=\"2394\"><li data-start=\"1708\" data-end=\"1804\"><p data-start=\"1710\" data-end=\"1804\"><strong data-start=\"1710\" data-end=\"1733\">Break stereotypes<\/strong> and be able to talk about <strong data-start=\"1755\" data-end=\"1766\">loneliness<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"1772\" data-end=\"1789\">lack of understanding<\/strong> from those around them.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1807\" data-end=\"1941\"><p data-start=\"1809\" data-end=\"1941\"><strong data-start=\"1809\" data-end=\"1835\">Work on self-esteem<\/strong> and on the <strong data-start=\"1842\" data-end=\"1855\">unmet needs<\/strong> arising from <strong data-start=\"1869\" data-end=\"1894\">conflicting roles<\/strong> (motherhood, work-life balance).<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1944\" data-end=\"2096\"><p data-start=\"1946\" data-end=\"2096\"><strong data-start=\"1946\" data-end=\"1981\">Address silenced violence<\/strong> (psychological and physical abuse, sexual abuse) in the <strong data-start=\"2033\" data-end=\"2054\">family of origin<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"2059\" data-end=\"2069\">couple<\/strong> or the <strong data-start=\"2075\" data-end=\"2093\">family created<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2099\" data-end=\"2203\"><p data-start=\"2101\" data-end=\"2203\">Make visible <strong data-start=\"2113\" data-end=\"2143\">everyday micro-aggressions<\/strong> linked to <strong data-start=\"2157\" data-end=\"2175\">discrimination<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"2181\" data-end=\"2200\">stigmatisation<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2206\" data-end=\"2292\"><p data-start=\"2208\" data-end=\"2292\"><strong data-start=\"2208\" data-end=\"2245\">Analyse substance use<\/strong> as an additional <strong data-start=\"2251\" data-end=\"2279\">vulnerability factor<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2295\" data-end=\"2394\"><p data-start=\"2297\" data-end=\"2394\"><strong data-start=\"2297\" data-end=\"2330\">Strengthen the therapeutic climate<\/strong> that fosters <strong data-start=\"2344\" data-end=\"2358\">awareness<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"2361\" data-end=\"2375\">motivation<\/strong> towards change.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"2395\" data-end=\"2487\"><p data-start=\"2397\" data-end=\"2487\"><strong data-start=\"2397\" data-end=\"2423\">Psychiatric care.<\/strong> Guidance and <strong data-start=\"2438\"
