Es manifesta mitjan\u00e7ant un <strong data-start=\"176\" data-end=\"218\">patr\u00f3 de comportament desadaptatiu<\/strong>, en el qual el <strong data-start=\"233\" data-end=\"258\">consum de subst\u00e0ncies<\/strong> com <strong data-start=\"264\" data-end=\"275\">alcohol<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"277\" data-end=\"288\">coca\u00efna<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"290\" data-end=\"302\">c\u00e0nnabis<\/strong> o <strong data-start=\"305\" data-end=\"322\">psicof\u00e0rmacs<\/strong> esdev\u00e9 una prioritat per a la persona, per sobre d\u2019aspectes fonamentals de la seva vida. Aquest canvi de prioritats sol provocar un notable deteriorament en diferents \u00e0rees personals. A m\u00e9s, tamb\u00e9 hi ha <strong data-start=\"537\" data-end=\"565\">addiccions sense subst\u00e0ncia<\/strong>, conegudes com a <strong data-start=\"582\" data-end=\"613\">addiccions comportamentals<\/strong>, que inclouen el <strong data-start=\"631\" data-end=\"653\">joc amb apostes<\/strong>, l\u2019<strong data-start=\"658\" data-end=\"688\">\u00fas compulsiu d\u2019internet<\/strong>, les <strong data-start=\"694\" data-end=\"705\">compres<\/strong>, l\u2019<strong data-start=\"710\" data-end=\"730\">activitat sexual<\/strong> o determinades conductes repetitives que generen depend\u00e8ncia.<\/p><p data-start=\"794\" data-end=\"1216\">En termes generals, <strong data-start=\"817\" data-end=\"837\">totes les drogues<\/strong> afecten el <strong data-start=\"849\" data-end=\"877\">sistema nervi\u00f3s central<\/strong> mitjan\u00e7ant l\u2019alliberament de <strong data-start=\"904\" data-end=\"925\">neurotransmissors<\/strong> que n\u2019alteren el funcionament natural. Amb el temps, l\u2019organisme perd la capacitat de produir aquestes subst\u00e0ncies per si mateix, cosa que genera una <strong data-start=\"1076\" data-end=\"1113\">necessitat fisiol\u00f2gica de consumir<\/strong> per mantenir l\u2019equilibri intern i evitar el malestar f\u00edsic i emocional associat a l\u2019abstin\u00e8ncia.<\/p><p data-start=\"1218\" data-end=\"1685\">Des d\u2019una perspectiva psicol\u00f2gica, les <strong data-start=\"1257\" data-end=\"1281\">subst\u00e0ncies addictives<\/strong> solen complir una funci\u00f3 concreta per a qui les consumeix. Poden <strong data-start=\"1349\" data-end=\"1394\">alleujar temporalment emocions doloroses<\/strong>, proporcionar una <strong data-start=\"1413\" data-end=\"1436\">sensaci\u00f3 d\u2019escapament<\/strong> o respondre a necessitats internes com la recerca d\u2019<strong data-start=\"1492\" data-end=\"1503\">euf\u00f2ria<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1505\" data-end=\"1522\">desinhibici\u00f3<\/strong> o <strong data-start=\"1525\" data-end=\"1536\">control<\/strong>. Aquesta experi\u00e8ncia refor\u00e7a la creen\u00e7a que el consum \u00e9s necessari per sentir-se b\u00e9, i genera un vincle cada vegada m\u00e9s fort amb la subst\u00e0ncia.<\/p><p data-start=\"1687\" data-end=\"2195\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">A mesura que l\u2019<strong data-start=\"1703\" data-end=\"1715\">addicci\u00f3<\/strong> avan\u00e7a, la persona <strong data-start=\"1735\" data-end=\"1782\">perd la capacitat de controlar el consum<\/strong>, fins i tot quan reconeix les conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncies negatives que comporta. Un dels trets centrals d\u2019aquesta malaltia \u00e9s l\u2019<strong data-start=\"1908\" data-end=\"1934\">alteraci\u00f3 del cervell<\/strong>, especialment en les \u00e0rees relacionades amb l\u2019<strong data-start=\"1983\" data-end=\"1998\">autocontrol<\/strong> i la <strong data-start=\"2004\" data-end=\"2026\">presa de decisions<\/strong>. Es considera que ha assolit l\u2019etapa de manteniment quan aquestes conductes saludables se sostenen durant m\u00e9s de sis mesos, i es consolida aix\u00ed el proc\u00e9s de recuperaci\u00f3 i
